Project Progression
In the very beginning of this project I was chose the animated music video with cyberpunk style and story using procreate to draw backgrounds, characters and all illustration aims for music producers or DJ for their work or live performance. After few discussions with lecturers and suggestions with doing VJ loops video for DJ use with using after effect because animated music video might use too much time, so I changed my plan to do around 20 videos with different types with same cyberpunk style. During one of the WIP presentation and I tried three types of VJ loops video which are Retro Synthwave, Street Graffiti loops and VJ loops. Somehow, the loops videos didn’t match with my illustration character and background so I just use the Synthwave and VJ loops one to elaborate with Resolume. And I kept the illustrations as my cyberpunk assets.
Creative process

Drawn three characters and two night cities backgrounds with cyberpunk style using Procreate

Created 15 VJ loops videos in eight style and 5 Retro Synthwave loops as my 20 VJ loops videos materials using After Effect.

Live performing 20 loops videos and music composed by Resolume.
